In 1956 when Mile-Hi Jeep Club was formed one of the five core purposes of the organization was to participate, on a voluntary basis, in search and rescue and other humanitarian missions as the community needs. Over the last 60 years the members of Mile-Hi Jeep Club have been very passionate about doing this and helping other organizations that do it to.

A couple of years ago Colorado 4x4 Rescue and Recovery was formed and has very quickly become the go to organization that performs off-road vehicle recoverees in the state of Colorado. There are several members of Mile-Hi Jeep Club that have also become members of Co4x4RnR to help assist in their recoveries. Because of all of the great work that this group has done MHJC decided to make a $2,500 donation to Co4x4RnR to use towards the purchase of a new Communications & Recovery Trailer!
