Pre Mothers day country drive...
Meet in Sedalia at O‘Briens Cafe and convoy to Cripple Creek. Get there early for breakfast, if you choose. Once in Cripple Creek, Travel down the old stagecoach route along a Shelf Road before stopping for lunch in Canon City. with the return trip to include Phantom Canyon on the old narrow gauge railroad grade. A day of easy back country driving and fantastic views mixed with a little history. Treat Mom to a day of natural beauty and easy driving, or just come hang out with Patrol 21 to have a relaxing day. Patrol meeting to commence at the end of the trail.

Come for a Fathers Day Cruise. Drive your Jeep, Hotrod, cruiser or whatever mode of transportation you prefer. With the intent of topping out at Pikes Peak summit. This is not an offroad adventure, but a social calling for all interesting in the Mile High Jeep Club, and/or Patrol 21 The Outlaws, or just an excuse to get out on Fathers Day. Dad‘s preferred #1 choice! Come early for Breakfast or meetup for a back-highway cruise to Pikes Peak and back. Bring a lunch and then be prepared for Dinner at Rudy‘s Texas Pit Bar-B-Q in Colorado Springs.

Patrol 4 Biannual trail run up Geneva Creek Trail FS 119. Bring a gloves, a saw and shovel incase we actually need to do some work. Meetup at the Shaggy Sheep 8:30 head to the trail at 9:30. If we get lucky we can make it up to the mine site but don‘t bet on it.

Experience the 25th Annual Hobo Run 2024!
Come Jeep like a Hobo for a day on the Kingston Peak Loop Trail above Alice with Patrol 1 (the Hobos).
As a Hobo for a day, at checkpoints along the trail, you’ll pick up supplies any self-respecting Hobo needs to survive. Each item will be assigned a point value. During the lunch stop (bring your own), points will be tallied. The Hobo with the highest point total will be rewarded with the 25th Annual Top Hobo Trophy and a generous gift card*. Trophies and prizes* will also be awarded for 2nd and 3rd place. There will be an egg toss for the more adventurous.
Beyond the quest to be the Top Hobo, there will be Jeeping! The plan is to take Cumberland Gulch to Washoe Gulch to Yankee Hill to Kingston Peak. Kingston may be closed due to snowpack, so only capable vehicles will return via Miner’s Gulch (others can return via Tolland or Apex Roads).
During registration, a dash plaque and souvenir Hobo Run bandana (to hold your survival items) will be given to each participant, along with a goodie bag, and an instruction sheet for day*.

6:30am-7:45/8am: Optional breakfast at Denny’s (they can be slow, prepare and make sure done by 8am)
7:45am-8:15am: Registration and First Checkpoint item, be gassed up and restroom complete.
8:20am: Swear In and Hobo Run Day schedule, leave right after.
8:30am: Hobo Jeep Train Leaves west on Hwy 6, up through Clear Creek Canyon to I-70, then take the St. Mary’s exit (#238).
9:30am: AIR DOWN and 2nd Checkpoint (39.804376 -105.634140) at Trailhead to Cumberland Gulch Trail
Join us for a trip to Balanced Rock. Learn about your off road rig, Mile High Jeep Club, and Patrol 21 (The Outlaws). Rear recovery points are required (your stock recovery points are acceptable) and we will be using club radios - we have spares for use.
We‘ll meet in Sedalia at O‘Briens Cafe at 9:00 am for a drivers orientation and then convoy to the trailhead, come early if you want breakfast.

Join us for a scenic Sunday drive though the mountains on the Historic Boreas Pass and head into Breckenridge the "back" way. See the remains of an old railroad roundhouse, water tower, and other ghost town remnants as we travel over the old rail grade.
Meetup in Conifer at the Dutch Bros Coffee at 09:00 for the drivers meeting and then convoy to the trailhead.
Lear about your rig, get to know MHJC, and Patrol 21 (The Outlaws). Pack a lunch and bring a camera if you like.

Come Join us For a drive out to Yankee Doodle Lake via Rollins Pass East, and possibly a short hike up to the Needle‘s Eye tunnel. Trail is an old narrow rail grade with very little technical driving required but some spectacular scenery. Rear recovery point required and club radios will be utilized.
