MHJC Club Calendar - Event View

This is an A4F pre-run of this trail, as well as a greenhorn run hosted by Patrol 21. This is trail is rated as moderate (probably a 3 or 4). The average stock SUV will have a hard time on a few sections of the trail, but more aggressive stock models can do it. Depending on the weather, the more common route to the mine site can be muddy. We’ll spend some time checking out a really cool old mine site! This trail is about 10 miles long and reaches just over 11,000 feet in elevation. It is a straight-through trail, with different start and end points, but both are on 285 just outside of Fairplay. <br /><br />Bring a lunch! In the parking lot, look for the copper TJ. Be ready to roll for the trailhead at 9:00am!
