MHJC Club Calendar - Event View

Hello Mile High Jeepers!

Patrol 1, the Hobo Jeepers are happy to announce that once again we will be hosting the Mile High Jeep Club Creepy Crawl.

The event will be on Saturday October 12th at William C. Russell Park in Central City.

Please come around 5:00 - 5:30 pm to start the festivities. Snacks, hot chocolate etc. will be provided.

If you have not attended this event previously, it’s a family friendly event where you will be challenged to test your nerve against ghosts and goblins as you wander through the old cemeteries of the Central City area. Follow clues as they guide you to places unknown and contemplate your own mortality to acquire the knowledge to survive the night and complete your quest. (Think of a type of scavenger hunt)

There will be a pre-event huddle to review the rules and handout the clues around 5:45pm.

At 6:00pm we will send you on your way to find the answers to the clues.

Be back at the park by 8:00pm for snacks, hot drinks and prizes/awards based on how well you answered the clues and other stuff.

Some things to remember for this event:
- Dress warm!
- Bring flashlights to help find clues
- Bring paper and pencil/pen pen for taking notes.

You will be provided coordinates to guide you to each cemetery so you will need a navigation tool:

- A non-cell phone based GPS works best
- Google Maps on your phone should work IF you download the maps around Central City ahead of time. Cell service is sketchy.
