06/05/26 The forest service has replied that Bald Mountain will open mid June, Green Ridge is still be evaluated and it is recommended not to make plans for this trail. We are a go for Kelly Flats and Bald Mountain. Formal trip will end after Bald Mountain. Choose to camp the night , head home or find local accommodations. Note: If Green Ridge is open folks can discuss running or not the next day, but it wont be part of the P4 trip. 05/28/26 Kelly Flats is open, Bald Mountain and Green Ridge are marked as closed as of today. I have emailed the forest service office to get an update. Note: if Heart Attack hill is wet/muddy we will bypass it and head for Bald Mountain. I had to remove description info below due to space limitations, please see Trails OffRoad for details. 05/06/26 Event is to be updated to include other trails in the area i.e. Bald Mountain, Green Ridge trail and will include camping.
Join P-4 as we run Kelly Flats (rated 5/7) and Bald Mountain (rated 5/5) outside Rustic, CO. Meetup at the Kelly Flats trailhead at 10am.



This trail is best suited for modified vehicles. Factory vehicles driven by an experienced off-road driver, and equipped with lockers and winches, could safely complete this trail with minimal undercarriage damage

Be sure to bring lunch, plenty of water, sunscreen and the GRMS
