In the process of joining Mike high Jeep Club, the second oldest jeep club in the world. The club is broken down into patrols 1-21. Each patrol has a different vibe. You have the pirates that enjoy their rum during camp outs, I hear, and the hobos.
The patrol I'm looking to join is one of the oldest running in MHJP. Patrol 13 "the Trail Runners". They pioneered CB comms while jeeping back in the 60's. Looking to do the Same with HAM now. Patrol leader is a sharp old man with silver hair. Got to meet two other long time members and all of them just felt like good people. Two of the newer members are my age and do tech for a living so we have something in common. To quote one of my favorite movies "this looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship".
