Due to unfortunate circumstances known as COVID-19, we unfortunately can not host the November Parent Club meeting in person. Due to county and state mandates, the Elks Lodge can only have 25 people within their facility at this time. And since it is winter time and the evening temperatures have dropped, hosting the meeting outside is not an option. Due to these restrictions, the November Parent club will be hosted virtually via ZOOM.
Zoom Meeting Information
 
As a warning, when you sign into the meeting, you will be entered into a waiting room. This is not to keep anyone out of the meeting but to make sure the acting Parliamentarian, as Mark will not be in town, and your current Elected officials, who run the meeting, make it into the room before the room possibly reaches it's cap. As a reminder, since this is a different process than normal, ALL voting members will have the opportunity to vote whether they are in the Zoom meeting or not.

As you know, the November Parent Club is an important one, as it is the month in which, YOU, the membership, elects your officials for the following year. So far there have been nominations for every category but nominations are still open, and we would like to encourage anyone who would be interested in helping the club as Commander, Secretary, or Treasure to notify our Parliamentarian, Mark Woodworth, and his proxy, Jerry Cronk, at parliamentarian@mhjc.org.  For instructions on how to vote, all voting members should check their email or the MHJC Facebook group.
