Over the Kingston Peak Loop Trail

"As real Hobos ride the rails, we instead ride the trails in the same traveling spirit."


   Come be a Hobo for a day, and ride the Kingston Peak Loop Trail above Alice with us.  As a Hobo, you'll need to muster up needed supplies and trail knowledge to survive.  Trophies will also be awarded for “Top Hobo”, 2nd, and 3rd place and prizes!  Dash plaques and a souvenir 20th Annual Hobo Run bandana will be presented to each participant at registration, along with an instruction sheet for the day.  There will be the annual egg toss at 11, 400’ for all as well!


Registration/Pre-registration will be on 1st-come basis, and will be limited to 20 vehicles (1 Hobo per vehicle).  walk ups excepted, please arrive ready to leave at 8am!!



WHEN: Saturday July 14, 2018

MEET: Denny’s Restaurant parking lot on South side of 6th Ave and Union/Simms in Lakewood, Colorado

TIMES: 7:00am-8:00am Breakfast (Dutch)

8:00am-8:25am Registration /Sign in (be gassed up and ready to leave)

8:30am- Hobo Driver Meeting

8:45am- "Sharp" Depart for Yankee Hill (Alice) trailhead via Hwy 6 thru Clear Creek Canyon and on I-70 Idaho Springs (on Channel 13) for the air down/disco’ at Fall River Road exit.
