Come for a Fathers Day Cruise. Drive your Jeep, Hotrod, cruiser or whatever mode of transportation you prefer. With the intent of topping out at Pikes Peak summit. This is not an offroad adventure, but a social calling for all interesting in the Mile High Jeep Club, and/or Patrol 21 The Outlaws, or just an excuse to get out on Fathers Day. Dad‘s preferred #1 choice! Come early for Breakfast or meetup for a back-highway cruise to Pikes Peak and back. Bring a lunch and then be prepared for Dinner at Rudy‘s Texas Pit Bar-B-Q in Colorado Springs.

Sign up on this event to have your radio(s) programmed for the club frequencies after the parent club business meeting.

For members wanting to purchase their own radios the club suggests either the Baofeng UV82C radio or the Baofeng BF-888S handhelds. We have also had some good success with the Powerwerks DB-750X mobile unit.

These can be purchased through multiple resellers, including Baofeng directly as well as Amazon.
