Join us for a scenic Sunday drive though the mountains on the Historic Boreas Pass and head into Breckenridge the "back" way. See the remains of an old railroad roundhouse, water tower, and other ghost town remnants as we travel over the old rail grade.
Meetup in Conifer at the Dutch Bros Coffee at 09:00 for the drivers meeting and then convoy to the trailhead.
Lear about your rig, get to know MHJC, and Patrol 21 (The Outlaws). Pack a lunch and bring a camera if you like.
Anyone interested in getting involved in Land Use or if you just want to know what is going on regarding Land Use - Please join Land Use Committee Chair Jay Pochert at 6pm this Thursday at the Westminster Elks Lodge. Parent Club Meeting to Follow at 7pm. See you there!
Sign up on this event to have your radio(s) programmed for the club frequencies after the parent club business meeting.
For members wanting to purchase their own radios the club suggests either the Baofeng UV82C radio or the Baofeng BF-888S handhelds. We have also had some good success with the Powerwerks DB-750X mobile unit.
These can be purchased through multiple resellers, including Baofeng directly as well as Amazon.
